Job Description
Overview We are looking for a kind, reliable, and patient individual to assist an elderly gentleman in his home during the day. This is a home environment. He enjoys watching TV and conversation, and primarily needs assistance with mobility and basic daily routines. He is unable to walk independently. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate and comfortable providing light personal care in a private home setting. Responsibilities Assist with getting dressed in the morning Help with bathroom transfers and hygiene Assist with showering Prepare and serve pre-made meals Light tidying of immediate area as needed Provide companionship and general supervision About Him Friendly and easygoing Enjoys watching TV Not physically demanding beyond mobility assistance Calm home environment (in-law apartment) Requirements Experience with elderly care preferred (not required) Comfortable assisting with transfers and personal hygiene Reliable transportation Trustworthy and punctual Schedule Monday, tuesday, Thursday, Friday (9:30-4:30PM) and Additional Notes This is a private home position, not through an agency. We are looking for someone dependable who values dignity and respectful care. Background check and references required.
