ClinCare Nursing Services LLC is hiring compassionate, dependable, and caring Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team!
Location of Care:
Bowie, Maryland Schedule:
Part-Time | Monday-Friday | 10:30 AM-2:30
PM Hours:
4 hours per day If you are passionate about helping others, providing compassionate care, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of clients and their families, we would love to hear from you! As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) , you will provide compassionate, hands-on assistance to clients in the comfort and privacy of their own homes. You will help with personal care, activities of daily living, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, safety, companionship, and other essential daily needs while following the client's established plan of care. What You'll Do Personal Care & Activities of Daily Living Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: Bathing and showering Dressing and undressing Grooming and personal hygiene Toileting and incontinence care Oral care Eating and feeding assistance Assist clients with maintaining personal cleanliness, comfort, dignity, and privacy. Encourage clients to remain as independent as safely possible. Mobility & Safety Assist clients with walking, transferring, repositioning, and other mobility needs. Provide assistance with safe movement throughout the home. Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment. Assist with fall-prevention and other basic safety measures. Report changes in the client's condition, behavior, or safety needs to the appropriate supervisor. Meal Preparation & Nutrition Prepare simple meals and snacks according to the client's needs and established care plan. Assist clients with eating and drinking when needed. Maintain proper food handling and kitchen safety. Assist with grocery organization and basic meal-related tasks as directed. Companionship & Emotional Support Provide friendly companionship and meaningful social interaction. Encourage appropriate activities and engagement based on the client's interests and abilities. Treat every client with patience, kindness, dignity, and respect. Help reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation. Light Housekeeping Perform light housekeeping tasks necessary to maintain a clean and safe client environment, including: Laundry Changing bed linens Washing dishes Light cleaning and tidying Taking out trash Keep commonly used client areas clean, organized, and safe. Documentation & Communication Accurately document services provided according to agency requirements. Report changes in the client's condition, needs, or behavior promptly. Communicate professionally with clients, families, supervisors, and other members of the care team. Follow the client's established plan of care and all agency policies and procedures. Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience providing personal care, home care, caregiving, or direct client support is preferred. Must complete background check. Skills & Abilities Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to client care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members. Ability to assist clients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living. Dependable, punctual, responsible, and trustworthy. Ability to maintain client confidentiality and respect privacy. Comfortable working independently in a client's home. Commitment to providing safe, respectful, and high-quality care. Work Environment Care is provided in the client's home . In-home, one-on-one care setting. PRN daytime schedule. Must be comfortable providing care in a residential/home environment. Training and ongoing support are provided to help ensure you have the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.
