The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. This role involves working closely with clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting independence. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide catheter care and support with medical records management while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities. Help clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times. Monitor clients' health by observing changes in condition and reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks as needed. Experience Previous experience in home health or senior care is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with home care practices, meal preparation, and basic cooking skills is beneficial. Understanding of medical terminology related to home health services is a plus. Ability to work independently while demonstrating strong communication skills and empathy towards clients. Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar training is advantageous but not required.
