Rapha Global Care, Inc. is an agency dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities throughout Central Maryland, including Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Howard County, Anne Arundel County, and Harford County. We are seeking reliable and compassionate weekend Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide residential support every Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM . DSPs will support individuals with daily living needs, medication administration, household responsibilities, transportation, and community activities while promoting independence and quality of life. Responsibilities As a Direct Support Professional, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist individuals with ADLs and personal care, including showering, oral hygiene, toileting, dressing, and grooming. Administer medications in accordance with training, certification, individual plans, and agency procedures. Drive individuals to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and community activities such as the library, bowling, and other recreational activities. Assist individuals with preparing for home visits, including packing clothing, medications, and personal items. Prepare meals and maintain adequate food provisions for each individual. Complete household chores, including cleaning bathrooms, kitchen and appliances, dining areas, living spaces, bedrooms, and floors. Complete laundry, including washing, drying, folding, hanging, and organizing clothing. Encourage and engage individuals in meals, medication routines, community activities, appointments, hygiene, and daily activities. Offer choices and alternatives and remain patient when an individual refuses. Promote independence, choice, dignity, and participation in daily routines and community life. Follow individual PCPs, support plans, and agency procedures. Accurately document daily activities, hourly checks, progress, behaviors, appointments, and other required information. Communicate changes, concerns, incidents, and other important information to supervisors. Support individuals with behavioral needs using approved strategies and techniques. Support adults of all ages, including older adults, with a wide range of developmental, intellectual, and physical disabilities, including individuals with complex medical needs. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred. High school diploma or GED. Valid Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification - required. Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance. Ability to pass required background checks. First Aid & CPR certification. DDA-required DSP training. MANDT training. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and responsibly. Comfortable assisting with personal care, ADLs, household tasks, and transportation. Patient, compassionate, dependable, and energetic. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Can fill open shifts, and in case of emergencies Ability to respond appropriately to emergencies and follow agency procedures.

Schedule Saturday:

7:00 AM - 11:00

PM Sunday:
