Deaf Independent Living Association, Inc. (DILA) is a growing non-profit Human Service organization that promotes independence of people who are deaf or hard of hearing through communication, connection and community supports. Our agency has expanded to Frederick, MD plus covers the Eastern Shore, Central, Southern and Western areas of Maryland. A Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides support, guidance and role modeling while supporting daily activities of individuals served. Services are individualized according to the needs of each individual which are provided in their homes and out in the community so that they have independence in the community to lead full and happy lives. Assistance areas range from but are not limited to personal hygiene, medication administration, advocacy, communication facilitation, money management, household management and much more. Schedules are filled according to individuals' needs.
