Job Description

Overview We are seeking energetic and dedicated Home Health Aides and Caregivers to join our team. In this vital role, you will deliver personalized care to clients, supporting their daily living activities and promoting their health and well-being. Your compassionate approach will help clients maintain independence and improve their quality of life while adhering to home healthcare regulations and best practices. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and medical documentation protocols Support clients with medical procedures like catheter care, wound care, or end-of-life care as needed Maintain detailed medical records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality Help with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe environment Use patient transfer methods safely, including Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices, to prevent injury for both client and caregiver Experience Prior experience working with seniors or geriatric patients in home healthcare or assisted living settings preferred Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care highly valued Knowledge of medical terminology, home health care regulations, and documentation standards required Certification in First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS), including CPR training Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation and record keeping Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and work effectively in live-in employment situations Strong communication skills for client interaction and coordination with healthcare teams Join us to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through dedicated caregiving!
