We are seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) who values people for who they are and is excited to walk alongside adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they engage in the activities they love and pursue their goals.
Work Schedule:
Saturday and Sunday 10 AM to 8 PM A Day in the
Life:
You'll spend your days supporting a group of fun, vibrant individuals who enjoy: Watching animated Movies & cartoons Listening to music Engaging in conversation Spending time with family Going to the gym This group is looking for someone who is kind, dependable, a good communicator, and most of all—someone who enjoys spending time with them. If you're someone who takes joy in building real connections and being present in the moment, you'll thrive here.
How You'll Support:
Help individuals live independently by assisting with cooking, cleaning, laundry, and taking medication Support community engagement, whether that's a walk in the park attending a local event. Be a steady presence in important moments—family visits, milestones, or just a shared cup of coffee Advocate for each person's rights and help build their confidence and sense of self Keep clear, respectful records to ensure continuity of care and support
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years old Valid driver's license with at least 2 years of driving experience and no more than 3 points Comfortable driving agency vehicles and assisting people who use wheelchairs Able to lift up to 75 pounds, stand for long periods, and provide physical assistance when needed Completion of Medication Technician Training Program (or willingness to complete)
