The Orthodontic Assistant will assist with orthodontic procedures, treatment planning, patient education, and daily office operations while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for orthodontic procedures. Assist the doctor during patient treatment and orthodontic procedures. Properly position instruments and assist with handling orthodontic appliances. Educate patients on treatment plans, post-procedure care, and oral hygiene. Assist with patient scheduling and front-office tasks as needed. Support dentists and staff with treatment planning, billing, and insurance matters. Ensure accurate submission of expenses and invoices. Maintain office inventory, including dental supplies and equipment. Address patient and employee concerns professionally and appropriately. Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment. Required Skills & Experience Previous experience working as an Orthodontic Assistant . Experience assisting with orthodontic procedures and patient care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a dental/orthodontic team. Education Requirements Candidates must meet one of the following: Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program , OR At least 1 year of hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant . Required Certifications & Licensure X-Ray certification required. 1-2 years of relevant experience required. Preferred Qualifications Dental Assistant Certification preferred. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a dependable and patient-focused Orthodontic Assistant with strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced orthodontic practice.

$30.00 - $44.00 per hour
