Job Summary We are urgently seeking a compassionate and energetic Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. As a DSP, you will provide essential personal care, behavioral support, and community engagement to help clients achieve greater independence and quality of life. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Implement behavior management strategies tailored to individual needs to promote positive behaviors Support clients in community outings, appointments, and transportation using personal vehicles Collect data on client progress, behaviors, and service outcomes to inform care plans and reporting Communicate effectively with clients using various methods, including American Sign Language if applicable Requirements Must know how to prepare and cook meals Light housekeeping and organizing Ability to operate a standard passenger car safely for client transportation purposes Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation Certification in First Aid and CPR required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to assist clients with personal care tasks and support their independence in daily routines Join us in creating a positive impact by providing dedicated support that empowers individuals to thrive!
