Office Support Remote Interview Process Weekly Pay Weekend Differentials Duties May Include:
Providing assistance to the adults/children within the day program in such areas as feeding, toileting and elimination, nutritional intake physical care, and daily activities. Administer medication and document it properly on the Medication Administration Records. Monitor the person being supported to ensure safety in all aspects of their lives (medical, health, behavioral) Assist the client with ambulation, transfers and/or range of motion exercises. Promote a safe client environment. Utilizes infection control measures such as hand washing and personal protective equipment. Observes and reports safety hazards and changes in resident condition to Supervisor. Accompanying residents to outings/ doctors appointments Documents observations and activities in an accurate, complete and timely manner. May have access to personal health information ("PHI") necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities. Access to use and ability to disclose PHI is further defined by each organization/department.
Must Have:
Direct Support Certified Training (DSP) Valid Certified Medication Technician in State of Maryland. Mandt Training (Preventing, De-escalating, Intervening). DDA Training Up to dated CPR/First Aid. Fully vaccinated for
COVID-19.
Qualifications High school degree or equivalent education/experience. Must pass all background checks. Excellent oral and communication skills. Computer Savvy (experience with using computers for documenting/data). Must be able to lift 50-100 pounds and be capable of kneeling on the floor to aid consumers.
