Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual Home Health Caregiver to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including mobility and support using patient transfer methods and equipment such as Hoyer lifts and wheelchairs. Monitor and document patient health status through patient observation, vital signs measurement, and medical documentation to ensure accurate records for ongoing care. Administer medications safely following home healthcare regulations and medical terminology guidelines while maintaining strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards. Support clients with medical procedures such as catheter care, wound care, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and hospice care as needed. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and laundry to promote a safe and comfortable living environment. Communicate effectively with clients, family members, healthcare teams, and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems for seamless care coordination. Follow safety protocols including first aid, CPR certification requirements, and basic life support procedures to respond promptly during emergencies. Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home healthcare agencies is highly preferred. Demonstrated experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, geriatrics, or memory care needs such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Familiarity with home health care assistance including patient transfer methods like Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids. Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and home health regulations is essential for success in this role. Proven ability to work independently while maintaining excellent client communication skills and compassion-driven caregiving practices. Experience working with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient records and medical history management. Live-in employment experience or long-term caregiving roles are advantageous but not mandatory; a strong commitment to providing compassionate patient personal care is required.
