Job Description
We currently have opportunities available in Halethorpe, Timonium, Parkville, Anne Arundel County, and Harford County . Positions may include residential, Day services, Senior DSP, CNA-qualified DSP, PRN, and other direct support opportunities , depending on current staffing needs and candidate qualifications. Compensation Competitive pay ranges from $20.00-$23.50
• per hour . Starting pay is based on position, relevant experience, qualifications, and applicable credentials. DSPs with 3 or more years of relevant experience may qualify for a higher starting rate. Additional earning opportunities are available for Senior DSPs, CNA-qualified DSPs, and candidates with NADSP Level I-III certifications . Available Schedules We are recruiting for a variety of schedules based on program needs, including: Full-time and part-time opportunities Day shifts Evening shifts Overnight and sleepover shifts Weekend schedules PRN/on-call opportunities Specific schedules and locations will be discussed during the screening and interview process. What You'll Do As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide hands-on support to individuals receiving services while promoting independence, dignity, choice, and community involvement. Responsibilities may include assisting with daily living activities, personal care, transportation, community activities, medication-related responsibilities, documentation, household routines, and other supports based on each individual's needs. Minimum Requirements Must be at least 21 years old Valid driver's license with at least 2 years of driving experience and no more than 3 points Comfortable driving agency vehicles as part of job responsibilities Comfortable assisting individuals who use wheelchairs Able to lift up to 75 pounds , stand for extended periods, and provide physical assistance when needed, with or without reasonable accommodation Completion of a Medication Technician Training Program , or willingness to complete the required training Ability to complete all required orientation, training, and employment-related requirements Interview Opportunity - September 10 Qualified applicants may be invited to participate in an in-person interview opportunity on Thursday, September 10, from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM Applicants should plan to allow up to two hours to participate in the interview process.
