Job Description

## Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, dementia care, patient care, and working with people with autism. This role involves assisting individuals with daily activities, ensuring their well-being, and promoting independence. ## Duties
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals in accordance with their care plans
  • Assist with personal hygiene tasks and activities of daily living
  • Engage individuals in meaningful activities and social interactions
  • Administer medication as directed and maintain accurate records
  • Support individuals with behavioral or emotional challenges in a respectful manner
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for the individuals under your care
  • Drive individuals to appointments, outings, or activities as needed ## Requirements
  • Experience in caregiving, dementia care, patient care, or working with people with autism is preferred
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to provide compassionate and person-centered care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work in a home care or long-term care setting
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
