DSPs and BHPs work one-on-one and in a group setting with an individual(s) on challenging behaviors, social skills, personal care, daily living skills, and community integration. Affinity provides employment in a day program or home/community based setting. We do not have residential programs or provide overnight support. Affinity's range of pay is based on the actual current employees for the DSP position is $17-$25 per hour.

Job Requirements:

Good driving record and reliable transportation with valid inspection/registration. Vehicle insurance liability requirements of $100,000/$300,000. Ability to complete BHP training within one year from the date of hire and DSP training within six months of hire. Positive attitude. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to complete online documentation using several computer applications and systems. This will require the use of a smartphone and GPS enabling. Organized. Excellent problem-solving skills.

Education Requirements:

Over age 18 with a High School Diploma or GED. Preference is given to those applicants with BHP or DSP certification or experience working with children.
