Job Description
Home Health Aide (HHA) Purpose Driven Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Home Health Aides to join our growing team. Job Type Full-Time Part-Time PRN/As Needed Pay Starting at $17.13 per hour (based on experience, qualifications, and certifications) Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene. Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, mobility, and positioning. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed. Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes. Provide medication reminders (no medication administration unless authorized). Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community activities as authorized. Observe and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, or mental condition. Maintain accurate daily documentation and visit notes. Provide companionship and emotional support. Follow each client's individualized care plan. Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Follow all infection control and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with supervisors, nurses, clients, and family members. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous caregiving, home care, nursing assistant, or direct care experience preferred but not required. Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Current automobile insurance (if transporting clients). Ability to pass a criminal background check. Ability to pass a drug screening. Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients safely. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor.
