Job Description
Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a Inpatient Unit Clerk to join their team. As a Inpatient Unit Clerk, you will be part of the hospital support staff supporting the patient care team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to multitask effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

- Shift: 11pm-7am
- What's the Job?
- + Provide direct support to unit providers and nursing staff, ensuring smooth coordination of care.
+ Assist patients and families by answering questions, guiding them through the unit, and creating a welcoming environment at the desk.
+ Manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges while maintaining accurate records and census information.
+ Support clinical staff by processing orders and referrals, coordinating appointments and tests, and acting as a communication liaison between team members.
+ Monitor and maintain the infant security system to ensure patient safety.
