LIFE SKILLS RESIDENTIAL

is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to work within our Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Adult Foster Care and Apartment Programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain levels of supervision and safety Implement provider developed behavior modification plans Prompt and assist residents with activities of daily living (eg bathing, dressing, cleaning, grooming) Assist residents with maintaining a clean living area Provide resident transportation to appointments and community outings Meal preparation Maintain a clean and orderly residential environment Medication passing Provide behavioral redirection and de-escalation Complete timely and accurate documentation

SKILLS:

Strong communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent Valid Michigan driver's license The ability to pass a physical Clear background check (fingerprinting) Ability to lift, stand, bend, walk, or sit for prolonged periods
