Job Overview Join our team as a Direct Support Professional / Respite Staff / Caregiver, where your compassionate care will make a meaningful difference in the lives of two young men with special needs. In this role, you will help promote independence and foster a safe, nurturing environment. Your dedication and commitment will help empower these individuals to thrive in their daily routines. This position will be the perfect fit if you are searching for meaningful work and a chance to make a real impact. No prior experience required. Requirements Must be 18 years old Ability to pass a criminal background check A valid Drivers License Caring, empathetic, flexible, and patient Reliable way to transport yourself to and from work Duties Provide companionship and engage in activities (ex: socializing, crafts, puzzles, reading aloud). Assist with simple chores and meal prep, while maintaining in-home safety. Support with community outings (ex: up to a mile walk, grocery shopping, etc), while ensuring safety at all times. Walk a mile at a time and push an individual in a wheelchair on varying surfaces. Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
