Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as a Community Living Support Staff. As a Community Living Support Staff, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with diverse needs to lead a fulfilling life.Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to a 45 year old high-functioning male with disabilities and special needs
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation
- Support the individual in community integration and participation in social activities
- Implement individualized care plans and behavioral support strategies
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Must provide own transportation, including providing transportation to community activities and events
- The individual's hobbies include: fishing, boating, sports, hunting, shooting pool, and generally being out and about
- Flexible scheduling makes this a great side job!
Experience:
- Prior experience in direct support, senior care, or working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and medication administration
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Requirements:
- Applicant cannot have prior felony conviction
- Must have current Driver's License and transportation
- Must provide references
