Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as a Community Living Support Staff. As a Community Living Support Staff, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with diverse needs to lead a fulfilling life.
Duties:
  • Provide direct care and support to a 45 year old high-functioning male with disabilities and special needs
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation
  • Support the individual in community integration and participation in social activities
  • Implement individualized care plans and behavioral support strategies
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment
  • Must provide own transportation, including providing transportation to community activities and events
  • The individual's hobbies include: fishing, boating, sports, hunting, shooting pool, and generally being out and about

Experience:
  • Prior experience in direct support, senior care, or working with individuals with disabilities preferred
  • Knowledge of first aid procedures and medication administration
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Requirements:
  • Applicant cannot have prior felony conviction
  • Must have current Driver's License and transportation
  • Must provide references
