Evening, overnight, and weekend availability New Heights Service Solutions is seeking dependable, compassionate, and professional Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with disabilities in home and community-based settings. Our DSPs help individuals live as independently as possible while providing the support needed to maintain safety, participate in the community, build daily living skills, and achieve personal goals. What You'll Do Support individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, and community activities Encourage independence, choice, self-advocacy, and participation in daily routines Follow individualized plans of service, health and safety protocols, and behavioral support strategies as applicable Provide medication reminders and assistance according to training and individual support requirements Assist with appointments, transportation, shopping, recreational activities, and community involvement Maintain a safe, clean, respectful, and supportive home environment Complete accurate and timely daily documentation, progress notes, and incident reports Communicate professionally with individuals served, coworkers, supervisors, families, guardians, and members of the support team Follow Recipient Rights, confidentiality, health and safety requirements, and New Heights policies Maintain dependable attendance and arrive on time for scheduled shifts Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Reliable transportation and current auto insurance Ability to successfully complete required background checks Ability to complete required training and documentation Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, patient, respectful, and able to work independently and as part of a team Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of DSP, direct care, residential, or similar experience American Sign Language (ASL) skills or experience supporting individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing Experience providing Community Living Supports (CLS) or other home and community-based services CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain OCHN Recipient Rights training or willingness to complete Experience supporting adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities or mental health needs Who We're Looking For We are looking for team members who understand that consistency and dependability matter.
