Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols and safety guidelines Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being Follow safe patient lifting practices and manual handling techniques to prevent injury during transfers or repositioning Assist with meal preparation and feeding to meet nutritional needs and dietary restrictions Maintain a clean, organized environment by performing light housekeeping duties and ensuring infection control standards are met Skills Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care environments Strong understanding of dementia care, Alzheimer's support, and memory care strategies Knowledge of vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and basic first aid/CPR certification Ability to operate a standard passenger car safely for transportation needs Experience working with individuals with developmental or cognitive disabilities in home or community settings Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and healthcare teams Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with resident transfers safely
