Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's personal assistance devices Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly to healthcare teams Administer medications following HIPAA guidelines and care plans, ensuring accuracy and safety at all times Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs, including cooking and meal planning in accordance with health protocols Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks in residents' living areas, common spaces, and activity rooms Support residents during community outings or social activities to promote engagement and socialization Document care activities meticulously in compliance with healthcare regulations and assist in updating personalized care plans Provide safe transportation to residents and/or staff as needed using company-provided vehicles , ensuring safe driving practices, proper seatbelt use, and adherence to all applicable policies and regulations. Requirements Previous experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer's care), memory care, autism support, and hospice care is highly desirable Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training, and medication administration are required or can be obtained upon hire Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks necessary for patient transfer using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate attitude towards individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges Experience working with individuals requiring specialized care for conditions such as dementia or Alzheimer's is a plus Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA regulations Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Join us in creating a nurturing environment where every individual receives the respect and support they deserve.
