Home Care Aide

Join University Home Care Inc as a Home Care Aid in Ypsilanti, MI, where you will provide compassionate and reliable in-home care to individuals who need assistance with daily living activities. This role is integral in helping clients maintain their independence and improving their quality of life through personalized care and support. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Help clients with mobility and transferring safely within their homes. Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Monitor client condition and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members. Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures. Requirements Previous experience in home care, healthcare, or related field is an asset, but NOT required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting clients. Reliable, compassionate, and patient personality. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is a plus.
