DSP (Direct Support Professional) Kharis Health Services Apple Valley, MN Job Details Part-time $18 - $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid sick time Qualifications Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders Caregiving Experience working with individuals with cognitive disabilities In-home healthcare experience Senior care Home care Behavioral disorders support Intellectual disabilities support Direct support Autism spectrum disorders support Training Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities Disability services experience Full Job Description You will play an important role in providing services to individuals who may have: intellectual disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, behavioral health disorders, and/or mental health diagnosis as they work to overcome vocational barriers and live lives that are more independent. Particular client for this position has cats and loves dogs. Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to): You will be providing direct supervision, cueing, maintenance, guidance, instruction, incidental assistance with activities of daily living or assistance with coordination of community living activities to help the person live independently. Provide direct training on community living skills such as skill building to acquire, retain and improve the person's experience living in the community.
