Come work at Connections Services, LLC and make a difference! We are a company that provides care giver services to individuals who are developmentally disabled. All our group homes are in the Bloomington, MN area. We currently are looking for Direct Support Professionals to work with our residents at several of our Bloomington homes. We have full and part time positions available;, days, evenings, and weekends.
Starting Salary:
$17.00- 18.
Benefits:
Eligible 1st of the month after 60 days employment. Health insurance (ICHRA), Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life/LTD. 401k-eligible after 90 days employment. Must be scheduled 30+ hours per week to be benefits-eligible. What do Connections Direct Support Professionals do? DSPs provide a variety of services to our residents, and duties vary from program to program, but may include (but are not limited to): Providing care giver services to our residents, including personal cares when appropriate and necessary Teaching and maintaining skills Cooking, meal preparation, and feeding assistance Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities Participating in the development of Individual Program Plans Medication administration Participating in fun recreational activities with residents! Our DSP jobs are ideal for someone who: Wants to make a difference in someone's life! Needs experience in the health care field. Is looking for an entry level opportunity as someone new or returning to the workforce and/or interested in the Human Services field Wants flexible full-time or part-time shifts that fit with your work-life balance What skills do care givers need? No degree is required! If you have a High School diploma (or equivalent) and are over the age of 18, we will provide all of the training that you need to provide high-quality care; no experience is necessary DSPs are people-oriented- they assist individuals with their care giver skills, provide Home Services, and strive to improve their quality of life! Care givers are adaptable and flexible
