Job Description

Advantage PCA & Senior Care is a locally owned and operated home care agency providing in-home support services to children, adults, and seniors. We are seeking compassionate, dependable Personal Care Assistants/Direct Support Professionals to join our growing team. We offer flexible scheduling and work closely with employees to match available shifts with their preferences and availability. Benefits Competitive pay Flexible scheduling Paid sick time No mandatory shifts or holidays Direct deposit Client-specific training provided Opportunities for additional hours and shift availability Consistent communication and support from office staff Opportunities to build meaningful relationships with clients and families Nursing Assistants can maintain an active registry Job Duties and Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, toileting, mobility, transfers, positioning, eating, and other personal care needs. Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful social interaction while promoting client independence and well-being. Support clients with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), including meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks. Provide redirection, supervision, behavioral support, and encouragement as needed to promote client safety and individualized goals. Observe, redirect, and support clients as needed Assist with community engagement, grocery shopping, and essential errands when applicable Maintain client confidentiality and follow company policies Foster a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment that supports each client's dignity, choices, and individual goals. Observe and report any changes in client condition, behavior, or needs, and report concerns to appropriate supervisors.
