Royal Caringhands Home Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide support to individuals with intellectual and/or mental health disabilities in a Community Residential Services (CRS) group home setting. The DSP will assist individuals with daily living activities while promoting independence, community involvement, health, safety, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities include:

Provide direct care and supervision to persons served in a residential setting Transport individuals to and from work, appointments, community activities, and other scheduled destinations Assist with personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, and household tasks Encourage participation in daily living activities and community-based activities Support individuals in achieving their physical, emotional, social, recreational, and cognitive goals Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner Follow individual service plans, company policies, and state regulations Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for persons served

Required Schedule:

Tuesdays and Fridays from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM, plus every other weekend from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM. The every-other-weekend rotation will fall on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27; Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11; and every other weekend thereafter. Applicants must be available to work the full schedule listed above.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED required Valid Minnesota Driver's License required Clean driving record and ability to be insured under the company's automobile insurance policy Reliable transportation to and from work Ability to pass a Minnesota DHS background study Strong verbal and written communication skills Minimum of one year of experience in home care, direct support, or a related field required

Pay:

$20.00 - $21.00 per hour
