As a PCA (Personal Care Assistant) in an adult day care, your job duties may include: 1. Assisting with activities of daily living, such as eating, exercising and toileting. 2. Supporting clients with physical therapy exercises, as directed by a healthcare professional. 3. Monitoring clients' health status, including vital signs and physical condition, and reporting any changes to the healthcare team. 4. Medication Reminding for our clients. 5. Planning and leading activities that promote social engagement and mental stimulation. 6. Assisting clients to engage in fun activities that enrich their lives. 7. Providing emotional support and companionship to clients. 8. Assisting in getting our clients to and from our Vans. 9. Providing a clean and safe environment for clients. 10. Maintaining accurate patient records and reporting any changes in condition to the healthcare team. As a PCA in an adult day care, your primary goal is to provide compassionate care to clients while promoting their independence and wellbeing.
