Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including prompts for personal hygiene, dressing, grooming Support medication administration in accordance with care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and adhering to infection control standards. Document progress, update care plans, and ensure compliance with resident's rights and confidentiality requirements. Provide transportation assistance for medical appointments or community outings using personal transportation Skills Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, dementia or Alzheimer's care, memory care, or neurodevelopmental disorders. Strong knowledge of patient monitoring techniques including vital signs measurement, patient observation, and emergency response procedures such as CPR and first aid. Familiarity with assisted living environments, nursing homes, home health care, hospice care, and long-term care settings. Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with residents, families, team members, and healthcare providers. Knowledge of resident's rights policies and experience implementing individualized care plans aligned with HIPAA standards. Competence in assisting with medication administration and understanding of safety protocols related to patient personal care assistance.
