Our IHS services include both IHS with Training and IHS without Training , based on each client's authorized services and individual needs. IHS Workers help individuals with disabilities and other support needs develop independence, maintain daily routines, participate in the community, and achieve goals identified in their individualized service plan. Responsibilities Provide person-centered support according to the client's service plan. Assist with daily living activities, routines, meal preparation, household tasks, and community activities as authorized. For IHS with Training , teach and reinforce independent living, communication, social, and daily living skills. For IHS without Training , provide direct assistance, supervision, encouragement, and support based on the client's needs. Promote independence, choice-making, safety, and community participation. Use positive and respectful approaches when supporting clients with behavioral or developmental needs. Complete required service documentation and EVV records accurately. Communicate with clients, families, supervisors, and other members of the support team. Maintain client confidentiality and follow agency and DHS requirements. Report changes in client needs, incidents, or safety concerns appropriately. Qualifications Compassionate, dependable, and patient. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and follow individualized service plans. Previous experience with individuals with disabilities, autism, behavioral health, healthcare, IHS, education, or social services is preferred. Previous IHS experience is not required for all positions. Training may be provided based on the position and client needs. Must complete required agency and DHS training.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
