Job Description

Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, assisting them with daily activities and personal care. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, attention to detail, and the ability to work with individuals with various needs, including those with disabilities and memory care requirements. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their comfort and safety. Monitor and document patient observations, reporting any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere. Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed care plans. Support clients in engaging in social activities and maintaining their independence as much as possible. Provide hospice care when necessary, ensuring dignity and comfort during end-of-life care. Requirements Previous experience in home care or healthcare settings is preferred but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families. Experience working with individuals who have disabilities or require memory care is highly desirable. Ability to perform basic medical documentation accurately. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations. Physical ability to assist clients as needed, including lifting or transferring individuals safely when required.
