What You'll Do As a Direct Support Professional, you are the heart of our care team. Day to day, you will: Provide direct, hands-on support to clients with daily living activities (personal care, hygiene, mobility, meal prep, and errands) Assist with medication administration and coordinate with nursing staff on medication management Support clients in building independence, social skills, and community participation Document services accurately and on time (progress notes, daily logs) Follow individualized Coordinated Service and Support Plans (CSSP) Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment Communicate with families, case managers, and supervisors as needed

What We're Looking For Required:

18 years or older High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance Ability to pass a Minnesota DHS background study (245C) Compassion, patience, and dependability

Preferred:

Prior experience as a DSP, PCA, caregiver, or in a related human services role CPR/First Aid certification Familiarity with 245D HCBS requirements We provide 245D-required orientation and training — new caregivers are welcome to apply.
