A Home Health Aide helps individuals who are disabled, elderly, or chronically ill with daily tasks, such as dressing, washing, and light housekeeping. They can care for patients in their homes or other healthcare settings, and may perform basic medical care under the direction of a nurse or other medical professional. These roles typically require more comprehensive agency-approved training programs.

$21-24.50 per hour Anthurium Human Services has corporate foster care homes in Saint Cloud and is looking to hire Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support youth with high behavioral needs. This is an opportunity to be part of a committed, trauma-informed team helping shape a highly structured, therapeutic environment from the ground up. We offer intensive and ongoing training , tailored to equip you with the tools and confidence to provide high-quality, person-centered support. This includes support with crisis prevention, de-escalation, and behavior intervention. Ideal candidates are comfortable with emergency use of manual restraint , and preferably bring experience in crisis management, de-escalation, and working with children or adolescents who have high behavioral needs.
Position Summary:
As a DSP , you will provide daily supervision, emotional support, and guidance to youth in care. You will model healthy behavior, promote emotional regulation, implement behavior plans, and assist with daily routines and activities in a safe, structured home setting. You'll be expected to: Respond to behavioral escalations with a calm, therapeutic approach Maintain accurate documentation and communication Support trauma-informed interventions and emotional development Work collaboratively with team members, clinicians, and supervisors
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED (Post-secondary coursework in social work, psychology, or related field a plus) Valid Driver's License, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation Clear DHS background check At least be 21+ years old Must be physically able to assist in emergency interventions, including lifting, bending, and safely performing manual restraints Ability to complete required training (First Aid, Medication Administration, Crisis Intervention, etc.)
Preferred Experience:
Prior work with youth with developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, or trauma history Experience with emergency interventions and behavior management Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and positive behavior supports
