Position Overview As a Direct Support Professional with PHASE-Industries, you will provide compassionate, person-centered support that empowers individuals with developmental disabilities to live, work, and thrive in their communities. You'll assist with daily living activities, skill-building, employment support, and community engagement while ensuring dignity, safety, and respect at all times. Responsibilities Provide direct support and person-centered care for individuals at our location in Sandstone (we do have openings at our other locations as well, see other postings) Assist some with daily living activities such as self-care, meals, mobility, and hygiene Facilitate community involvement, recreational activities, and employment training Implement behavioral support strategies, crisis prevention, and de-escalation techniques (we provide the training) Dispense medications (after training and certification) Provide safe transportation for the individuals that we serve Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes for all individuals Uphold PHASE-Industries' Code of Ethics, policies, and participant rights Qualifications Belief that every human being has gifts & potential waiting to be unlocked & discovered - that the world, and humanity, flourishes only when each person's gifts are revealed, cultivated & celebrated.
