Job Summary As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals in their homes or community settings. Your responsibilities will include assisting clients with daily living activities, monitoring their health, and ensuring their overall well-being. This position requires a dedicated individual who is committed to enhancing the quality of life for those in need of support. Responsibilities Homemaking Services Assist with light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, organizing). Prepare simple, nutritious meals and support with grocery shopping. Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment. Individualized Home Supports (IHS) Provide one-on-one support tailored to each client's needs. Assist with daily living activities such as scheduling, errands, and personal routines. Encourage independence while offering gentle guidance. Foster a safe and supportive environment, building trust and rapport. Respite Services The purpose of respite services is to provide short-term care, supervision, support, and assistance to an individual while providing temporary relief to the individual's family member or primary caregiver. Provide direct care, supervision, and support to individuals receiving respite services. Follow each individual's individual service plan, coordinated service and support plan, and other applicable support documentation. Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), as authorized and identified in the individual's service plan, including: Personal hygiene and grooming Dressing Toileting Eating and meal assistance Mobility and transfers Other personal care needs within the employee's training and scope of responsibility Provide appropriate supervision to promote the individual's health and safety. Encourage independence, choice, dignity, self-advocacy, and community participation.
