Job Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent A valid driver's license Reliable transportation Current car insurance and registrationBackground Check Job Duties:
Provide guidance, education, supervision and direct support to assist individuals in maintaining their physical and emotional health while living safely in the community Assist individuals in developing their adult daily living skills and allocating necessary resources for successful independent living Model and teach skills for the development of positive relationships with peers and providers, as well as to provide guidance in advocating for individuals' personal needs Advocate for and support individuals in identifying and accessing the full range of community based supports and resources available in the area (educational, vocational, recreational, religious, and social) Administer medication and educate individuals on medication management per Level I Medication Aide regulations Monitor individuals' physical and emotional well-being and provide detailed documentation of daily activity, behavioral data, medical logs and other required paperwork in an accurate and timely mannerPreferred Certifications:
Level I Medication Aide CPR/First Aid- Starting rate of pay depends on shift hired for and previous experience
- $15.00/hr
- sleep shift overnights $17.00/hr
- no experience day/evening shifts $18.00/hr
- 1 year experience day/evening shifts $19.00/hr
- 2+ years experience day/evening shifts
- $500.00 sign-on bonus after a 90 day probationary period!
