Job Description
Miller County Board for Services for the Developmentally Disabled (MCBSDD) is looking for reliable, dedicated, honest, compassionate individuals to serve as Direct Support Professionals (DSP) working in our Residential Program in Osage Beach, MO. These positions are sleep overnight positions. These employees will sleep on site and will need to wake and assist with aspects of daily living as needed. Both are full-time, benefits eligible positions. If an individual needs assistance during the shift, job responsibilities include assisting adult individuals with developmental disabilities in all aspects of daily living, while providing a safe and positive living environment focused on individualized, person-centered supports. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assistance with personal care, cooking, cleaning, laundry, transportation in an agency vehicle, medication administration, financial oversight, and other duties as assigned when consumer need arises. All required training is provided by MCBSDD. Required trainings include CPR/First Aid, Level 1 Medication Aide, Abuse/Neglect, and other trainings mandated by the Missouri Department of Mental Health. Employees must obtain a valid Missouri Class E driver's license within 15 days of employment and pass a comprehensive background screening through the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services Family Care Safety Registry and the Missouri Highway Patrol.
