Looking to grow our team of excellent Direct Support Professionals who make a difference in our consumers' lives. Our Direct Support Professionals assist with the implementation of consumer Person Centered Support Plans (PCSPs) and Activities of Daily Living. Consumers appreciate assistance in living life to its fullest through help with cooking, cleaning, bathing, dressing, traveling and enjoying vibrant lives in their communities through occupational, recreational and social activities. Importantly, Direct Support Professionals ensure that each consumer's rights are protected and treat consumers with dignity and respect. Training for this career can be done directly with Specialized Support Services, Inc. and the consumers. Qualified candidates need a high school diploma or GED (or the willingness to pursue an alternative qualification once hired), the ability to pass a state-mandated background check and the desire to make a positive difference in people's lives by providing domestic, social, health, safety and emotional support.

We are filling three positions:

one full-time position and two part-time positions. The schedule for the full-time position is both days and evenings, Sundays from 7a-3p, Tuesdays-Thursdays from 3-11p, and Saturdays from 7a-3p. One part-time position is Saturdays from 10p-10a and Sundays from 10p-7:30a. The other part-time position is for Saturdays and Sundays from 3-11p. All openings require weekend work. From $17.00 per hour
