Job Description

About us The Harriet House is an assisted living facility located in Sumrall, MS. At the Harriet House our goal is to to enhance functional independence in community living. We aim to meet the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of all our residents. The Harriet House provides around the clock care with 24 hour staffing that will give residents and their families the peace of mind they are seeking. Paired with amenities that improve quality of life, our daily activities will encourage fitness of mind, body, and spirit. .
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the implementation of care plans and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive resident care.
  • Conduct assessments and scheduled rounds in residents rooms and document residents information accurately and thoroughly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Provide compassionate care to residents
  • Assist with activities of daily living in assisted living facilities.
  • Clean equipment, soiled furniture, and bedsides
  • Clean residents room, bedsides tables, closets, and bathrooms
  • Assist at all meal times
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Maintain HIPPA of all residents and employees
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Long-term and direct care experience preferred but not required
  • CPR Certified
  • Strong assessment skills and the ability to recognize changes in patient conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay and Hours:
  • Fulltime
  • 7am•7pm•Starting Rate $12 per hour (pay rate/increase subject to experience)
