Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Personal Care Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional support to individuals in various care settings. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature regularly Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain cleanliness by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to safely transfer clients with mobility challenges Observe and report any changes in patient condition or behavior to healthcare professionals promptly Follow all safety protocols including CPR and first aid procedures to respond effectively during emergencies Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and regulations Qualifications Proven experience working as a caregiver or personal care assistant in settings such as assisted living, nursing homes, or home health is highly preferred Knowledge of ADLs assistance, medication management, and patient observation techniques Certifications in CPR and First Aid are required; additional certifications like HIPAA training are advantageous Experience with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is desirable Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Familiarity with care plans, medication administration protocols, and patient monitoring procedures Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others Join us in making a meaningful difference!
