Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

```Duties```

• Provide personal care assistance to residents in an assisted living or nursing home setting.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document accurately.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or mental health status.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Follow resident rights policies and ensure a safe and respectful environment. ```Experience```
• Previous experience in senior care or dementia care is preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies.
• Familiarity with medication administration protocols and documentation.
• Understanding of assisted living regulations and standards of care.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
