$2000 Sign on Bonus!!! Smoky Ridge Health and Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide hands-on care alongside a certified nursing aide and support to our residents. The PCA plays a vital role in helping residents with daily needs while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence in a long-term care setting.
REQUIREMENT
Must currently be active in a C.N.A. class or have completed the C.N.A. class and awaiting to take written/skills portion of testing for obtaining certificate to be considered for a PCA position
PRIORITY HIRING FOR NIGHT SHIFT 11P-7A / 7P-7A
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Provide assistance with eating meals as needed Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents Observe residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff Offer companionship and emotional support to residents Maintain resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times Follow infection control, safety, and facility procedures Document services provided in accordance with facility policies Participate in training, meetings, and in-service programs as required
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
REQUIREMENT
Must currently be active in a C.N.A. class or have completed the C.N.A. class and awaiting to take written/skills portion of testing for obtaining certificate to be considered for a PCA position Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills Must be dependable, compassionate, and committed to quality care
