Monday through Friday part-time Maxim Healthcare is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide individualized support to adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role requires driving and accompanying patients throughout the community to help them achieve their short-term and long-term personal goals. DSPs serve as mentors, advocates, and life coaches by fostering independence, teaching life skills, promoting community engagement, and supporting meaningful participation in social, recreational, educational, and vocational activities. This role requires that you are comfortable transporting patients, encouraging personal growth, and creating opportunities that enhance quality of life and overall independence.

Requirements:

NCI Training CPR/FA High school diploma or GED required TB screening Active driver's license Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus. Excellent communication skills Proficiency in the English language required Technological proficiency including mobile devices for documentation Must be at least 18 years of age
