We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals in need. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication reminders
• Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals under your care
• Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
• Implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs
• Promote independence and respect resident rights

Qualifications:

• Experience in assisted living, direct support, or related field is preferred
• Knowledge of first aid procedures and basic caregiving techniques
• Familiarity with IDD is a plus
• Understanding of resident rights and confidentiality (HIPAA)
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals
• Certification as a nurse assistant or in long-term care is beneficial
