• 4pm Candidate must posses at least three of the following trainings to be considered for immediate hire.

CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, De-escalation/Restrictive Interventions Training, and Bloodborne Pathogens training. For Medication Administration & De-escalation training must have trainers credentials. Position starts immediately. Previous group home experience is preferred. Job Summary Elevating Generations is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide supervision and support to adolescents (ages 8-17) in a Level III residential treatment setting. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment while helping youth build life skills, improve behaviors, and achieve stability. Responsibilities Provide 24/7 supervision and support to residents Maintain a safe, clean, and structured living environment Assist with daily routines, life skills, and personal development Support youth with emotional regulation and behavior management Utilize de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques Complete daily logs, progress notes, and incident reports Transport residents to school, appointments, and activities (as needed) Follow all agency policies and NC DHHS regulations Maintain appropriate supervision ratios at all times

Qualifications Required:

Must be at least 18 years old High School Diploma or GED Valid driver's license with reliable transportation Ability to pass background check

Some Felonies Accepted Preferred:

Experience with at-risk youth, mental health, or residential care CPR/First Aid certification ( can obtain after hire) Crisis intervention or de-escalation training (can obtain after hire) Skills Strong communication and teamwork Ability to remain calm under pressure Dependability and professionalism Conflict resolution and problem-solving Understanding of trauma-informed care (or willingness to learn) Pay & Schedule $15.00
