Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Care Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes or assisted living facilities. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to help others and the ability to assist clients with daily living activities while ensuring their safety and comfort. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for those with developmental disabilities, seniors, and individuals recovering from illness or injury. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Maintain cleanliness in the client's living environment to promote a safe and healthy space. Document medical records accurately and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Support clients in taking prescribed medications and monitor their health status. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their emotional well-being. Ability to help client move safely as needed, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients in nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Qualifications Previous experience in home health care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities. Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care. Ability to move clients safely and assist them with mobility as needed. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy is a plus.
