Overnight Caregiver (9 PM-9 AM) Rica's Angels Home Health Care LLC - Hope Mills, NC Rica's Angels Home Health Care LLC is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and attentive Overnight Caregiver to provide one-on-one care for an elderly gentleman in Hope Mills, NC. Schedule 9:00 PM - 9:00 AM 12-hour overnight shifts This is an AWAKE overnight position. Sleeping during the shift is not permitted. Responsibilities Remain awake, alert, and attentive throughout the entire shift Closely monitor the client for safety and fall prevention Assist the client when getting in and out of bed Assist with nighttime bathroom trips and mobility as needed Maintain clear and safe walking areas to reduce fall risks Provide companionship and reassurance Assist with basic personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed Perform light housekeeping, including tidying the client's living area, dishes, wiping surfaces, and other basic household tasks Follow the client's established care plan Observe and promptly report changes in the client's condition or behavior Report any falls, incidents, or safety concerns Complete required caregiver documentation What We're Looking For The ideal caregiver is dependable, patient, observant, compassionate, and comfortable providing one-on-one overnight care to an elderly client. Because fall prevention and supervision are major parts of this assignment, applicants must be comfortable remaining awake and vigilant for the full 12-hour shift. Qualifications Caregiving experience preferred Experience working with elderly clients preferred Ability to assist with mobility and ADLs Dependable transportation Strong communication and observation skills Ability to follow a care plan and document services provided Must be dependable and punctual Must meet Rica's Angels Home Health Care LLC employment requirements
