WNC Direct Care, Inc. is currently hiring dependable and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide direct care and support for Two School- Aged Members in the Hot Springs, NC Area . This position is ideal for someone looking for Afternoon and After-School Hours . Responsibilities Provide individualized support based on each Member's needs Assist with daily living skills and personal care as needed Support community activities, recreation, and outings Encourage independence, choice, and skill development Maintain a safe and supportive environment Complete required documentation accurately and on time Follow all health, safety, medication, and behavioral support guidelines Communicate professionally with Members, families, and supervisors Qualifications High school diploma or GED Must be dependable and able to maintain a consistent afternoon schedule Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass required background and registry checks Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred Training is available for qualified applicants Schedule Afternoon / After-School Shifts Available We are seeking staff who are available to begin working after school hours and continue into the afternoon or early evening .
