A Home Health Aide helps individuals who are disabled, elderly, or chronically ill with daily tasks, such as dressing, washing, and light housekeeping. They can care for patients in their homes or other healthcare settings, and may perform basic medical care under the direction of a nurse or other medical professional. These roles typically require more comprehensive agency-approved training programs.
A Caring Heart Case Management is seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in a group home setting. The DSP will assist with daily living activities, personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, and community engagement while fostering a safe and supportive environment. Schedule Friday & Saturday only 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (overnight shift)
What You'll Do:
Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities Assist with daily activities, personal care, and community involvement Provide encouragement and companionship
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of driving experience A heart for helping others
Additional Requirements:
Must be dependable with a strong work ethic Must have a reliable vehicle and a safe driving record Must have a valid driver's license and state minimum auto insurance Background checks will be performed on all applicants Ability to learn and execute de-escalation strategies for handling crisis situations
Nice-to-Have:
