Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home health environments. In this vital role, you will assist clients with daily activities, monitor their health status, and promote independence while ensuring their safety and comfort. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help enhance the quality of life for those you serve, making a meaningful difference every day. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals Medication Reminders Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning tasks and infection control practices Requirements Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques and familiarity with dementia, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism Ability to perform patient monitoring, and assist with ADL's Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams Ability to lift heavy objects safely using proper techniques; experience with patient transfer methods like Hoyer lifts is advantageous Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and respecting client confidentiality at all times Join our team to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals needing personalized care.
